Work has been extra hectic the past few weeks since I've been running Design Is Yummy as well as freelancing sporadically in-house at Precision Advertising. That being said, I'm gonna keep my comments to myself and let you enjoy the video.

CHARITABLE WEB DESIGN

Full Code Press is a 24 hour professional web building challenge that is taking place today in Wellington, New Zealand. Teams from different countries compete by building websites for non-profits. At the start of the competition the teams are given content, images and a briefing from a representative of the chosen charity. Events include live blogging, interviews, Twitter and YouTube action throughout the competition, so check out the site to be part of the action!

RYAN

Not a new one, but I'm posting for those that have never had the privilege of seeing this film.



Ryan, directed by Chris Landreth, is an Oscar-winning animated tribute to Canadian animator Ryan Larkin. Thirty years ago Larkin produced some of the most influential animated films of his time at the National Film Board of Canada.

Alex Trochut is a graphic designer from Barcelona who creates rich typographical works for clients like Nike, The Rolling Stones, Coca-Cola and Beautiful Decay.

I've got to include one form my hometown. This is Upperkut - a communications agency that resides in the basement Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church here in Montreal.



























Designed by the architecture and design firm Camenzind Evolution, Google’s EMEA Engineering Hub office in Zurich takes up seven stories of 12,000 square metres of floor space for up to 800 employees. Each floor has a cohesive theme throughout. The communal spaces have large, cocoon-like meeting areas and employees can slide down a pole from the floor above into the space.











































Ogilvy & Mather’s Guangzhou office received China's Most Successful Design Award in 2008. Designed by M Moser and Associates, Ogilvy & Mather’s carnival themed office is the first interior design project to receive this award.
