SMELLY PACKAGING

Even though I'm allergic to perfume, I can still enjoy the beautiful packaging.

Alexa Lixfeld's scents come with concrete caps.

Unisex fragrance by Hermès. Bottle designed by Philippe Mouquet.

Handcrafted cedar packaging by NY artist Anicka Yi and architect Maggie Peng.

John Varvatos men's fragrance Artisan.

DSquared men's fragrance enclosed in Canadian red alder wood.

Tous H20 is the latest fragrance launched by Perfumes Y Diseño. Although I'm not gaga about this design, I do like the eco component to it. The glass is made from 25% recycled material and is 100% recyclable. A percentage of the sale profits are donated to support the Intermón Oxfam program which helps provide safe and clean drinking water to disadvantaged communities for as long as the product is on the market. Awesome!

The contents in this package are alcohol but it has the air of a perfume bottle. It has a high alcohol content (43%) and costs roughly $12,000! Yikes.
